Klay Fann, '14, attended last year's event and went because he thought it would be a great way to catch up and reminisce.

"It was great seeing so many in North Georgia blue. I ended up seeing more people from school than I thought I would," Fann said. "It was just great to sit in the stands in unity again, and cheer for the Braves like we would in our dorm rooms on each other's futons."

Fann said he will never turn down an opportunity to watch a Braves game with some of his best friends from UNG, so he will be at Truist Park again this year.

In February of this year, the Braves brought the 2021 World Series trophy to Haines and Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park, the home of UNG's softball team on the Dahlonega Campus. It was one of 151 stops, commemorating 151 years of Braves baseball.
